Tragic story from this weekend just gone, you can see the attached picture of an ambulance with a large hole in the windscreen, this vehicle was responding to an emergency call near to Wellington quarry when an object fell from or was thrown up by a vehicle and killed one of the ambulance crew and left the other requiring hospital treatment. This is a reminder to everyone that load security is paramount and of the possible consequences on not securing products correctly prior to delivery. Our thoughts are with the families of the crew involved in this incident.
