Reviewing the Authorised Examiner Designated Manager role

After consultation with the MOT trade, we’re introducing some changes to the Authorised Examiner Designated Manager (AEDM) role.

The changes will:

• expand who can be an AEDM
• provide a better explanation of the AEDM role

We’re also making the Authorised Examiner Principal (AEP) a formal role on the MOT testing service (MTS) and new AEPs will get access to MTS.
