This will be replaced by a number of new services. Operator Report ServiceReports will be available through the Vehicle Operator Licence (VOL) portal and will be called Operator Report Service. The new service will allow you to request the following reports:
This gives you a single operator service to keep your fleet details accurate and up to date to help manage vehicle maintenance and compliance. If you already have a self-service account in VOL, you don’t need to do anything as the new operator reports service will automatically become available. A new link to the service will appear on the right-hand side of the VOL home page and we will let you know when it’s ready. If you don’t currently have an account on the VOL self-service portal, you can register in advance of the service going live. Third party accessIf you administer fleet management activities on behalf of an operator, you will need to speak to them to understand their arrangements for you to access or view reports. Book, view and amend GVTS vehicle tests onlineFrom 1 April 2023, if you need to book a test at a Goods Vehicle Test Station (GVTS) you will need to book through the Contact Centre. You can call them on 0300 123 9000. The process for booking a test at an Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) is unchanged. If you want to book a test at an Authorised Testing Facility (ATF), you should contact the ATF directly. Top up your Pre-Funded Account (PFA)This will be available through the ‘Manage Your Vehicle Testing’ service (MYVT). We’re migrating existing pre-funded account holders over to the new service in the next few weeks, and you will receive an email inviting you to set up an account and password soon.
